How to identify a faulty glow plug?

Glow plugs may be diagnosed both at a service station, and by yourself. This can be done with the use of various methods. For the first method, you will need a multimeter. Set the device into the resistance measurement mode. Connect one probe of the device to the output of the glow plug, and the other one - to the vehicle body. If the contact is absent, the component is faulty.
